I am currently immersed in a book design for my editorial and publication III class, and while conducting some research, I came across this awesome artist, Matthew Cusick . I first saw his work featured in The Map as Art, a beautiful book filled with imaginative, artistic representations of maps.

I am drawn to Cusick's bold use of colour and texture. The images seem pull your eye right in, as to take a closer look at the intricacies of the map and book fragments he uses for his collages. Check out his website to view more of his amazing art.
